Waverly Country Curtains

Forgotten: David Soul, police and

A time to remember the forgotten. Even the forgotten of the forgotten, those who never appear in retrofreak collections ...

... today: David Soul, police and singer.

Between 1975 and 1979, "Starsky & Hutch was TV series fashion. One dark and one blond, and in the zarzuela, David Soul and Paul Michael Glaser police became far more attractive, and the paint of your car, in the most imitated.

But it was David Soul, the blond, who was able to double the success with the series through a brief but fruitful career. David became the blink of an eye, the singer fashion, the idol of teenagers, hobnobbing with the stars of the moment.

"Do not give up on us" , a cloying ballad immense throughout the United Kingdom and Silver Lady ", here danced to in clubs, swept the lists of average world, and even today are very memorable, but perhaps many do not know it was David, Hutch, who sang them.

Chicken Pox Only On Legs

Favorite singer: Aznavour and she

A time to claim jewels pop.
perfect songs hidden in the back of an album, sadly
or abandoned over time ...

... today and she Aznavour.

Charles Aznavour is probably the most important voice in French music of all time. Armenian-born French, Aznavour is also the composer and actor. His fame is known throughout the world and next to the largest, thanks to his recordings in Italian, English and English. Some of his compositions, as "La Bohème" or "That c'est sad Venice" are part of the memory of all converted into timeless classics.

In 1999, Elvis Costello and Burt Bacharach began collaborating together. The first fruit of this interesting meeting was "She" , for cloying soundtrack of the film "Nothing Hill". "She" , is not the version for the UK market "Tous les visages d'amour" , a theme of 1974, Aznavour wrote himself (although based on a score much older), and recorded in English making it No. 1 in Britain that same year.

Costello and Bacharach were whom I discovered this song, and who through it made me rediscover Aznavour, who today is one of my favorite artists.

And "She" is one of those songs that is wonderful in all its versions.
