Do Male Strippers Tie Off

Forgotten: Rosario hemstitching

A time to remember the forgotten. Even the forgotten of the forgotten, those who never appear in retrofreak collections ...

... Today: The hemstitching of Rosario.

Why is it that many artists once silenced his early triumph as if they never recorded depending on which disc? For Alejandro Sanz is the most blatant. His beginnings as Alexander , not listed in his official biography (although everyone knows that in 1989 recorded a thing called "The Bums Are Pa" care ", a revealing title that does not support many more readings, under protest to friends Bose).

Well, Rosario also sinned in his youth, and now suffers from amnesia. According to the discography of his official website, the first disc of the small of the Flores is "De Law" (1992), the cat, breast and taste. However, and interestingly, in his biography does recognize the launch of "Fly by night" in 1984 (an appalling record of dismal failure), but it hides something that perhaps no one will remember: In 1976, CBS Spain, launched a production of Oscar Gomez based in a poem of Gloria Fuertes , called "What does he mean?" . A song performed by a 13-year-old named Rosario Rios, a jewel naive that it might become related to the genius of Double Vainica .

The reader will decide, seeing the cover and his voice, if this is Rosario Rosario the cat, breast and flavor to the square. Tiny caught.

From girl sang and danced, kissed
And I dreamed that my hair grew
And I dreamed that my skirt.
What does he mean? January

If I wear long heels
If you took in February, April
If I turn in April.
What does he mean?

And in the field strip the bull,
And in the ring strip the bullfighter,
And in the Tarara field plowing,
And the poet lies in the verse.

The poet lies in the verse,
The truth lies in doubt, ask
If nobody responds.
What does he mean?

I had a letter saying
do not know what the eyes do not understand,
I had a love letter.
What does he mean?

And in the field strip the bull,
And in the ring strip the bullfighter,
And in the field plowing Tarara,
And the poet lies in the verse.

This means that I want,
This means that you want
And it requires no longer ask: Who will want
say this.

Another curiosity: the last line never appears in the song, but in the cover letter ... Does anyone think that late age of thirteen could not sing certain things?

Team Usa Wrestling Singlets

25. Stories

The arrival of summer meant the same thing every year: two months in the tent that we planted near the house of my uncles. And two months of raids in my 65 year Vespino, lilac and souped-cylinder, also known as "the cof-cof" with my cousins and friends neighbors. So we spent the summer goofing on those roads and nearby towns.

But the summer of 85 would provide a novelty that would upset my plans.
there during the holidays saw little television, and as we went out every night, not listened to much radio. So that event took me by surprise. English television broadcast live the great event of the year, decade to century: the huge Live Aid concert , which was held simultaneously in Philadelphia and London, and Bob Geldof organized , Guapito Irish scoundrel who sang it in he did not like Mondays, and starred "The Wall" film Alan Parker of the Pink Floyd album .

"I Do not Like Mondays." Boomtown Rats. Live. 1981

Dozens of leading figures
world together for the first time, to benefit famine victims in Africa.

My uncles had a black and white TV, but since we did not have power line running through the solar panels that my uncle Leonardo had installed on the roof. I never knew if solar technology because it was not even that bad, or if that was not enough for Leonardo so was my uncle, but the fridge is not cooling and was seen on TV very very rare.

And the day came, and there I was, trying to see and hear a black and white TV that almost magically worked, and which reflected the full screen and the hot sun porch that surrounded DRYLAND.

do not remember how many hours I spent watching television, sitting in a folding camping chair, and praying that those solar panels will not expire before the end of the concert. Ate, tea and dinner with a tray on my lap and looked confused at my grandmother could not understand anything.

Today, when looking for information on that concert, I was horrified to discover that I do not remember Neil Young , Or Elvis Costello . Of course I did not know them then. I well remember a very young Madonna which still had much to prove, singing "Into the Groove" , one of my favorite songs ever. And

Duran Duran and Spandau Ballet , which were fantastic. Duran Duran were a lot of talk because it seems that Simon, the gorgeous and super Simon Le Bon, improper cock gave a great star who was just on rush-hour television event of the millennium, which led to the mockery of the press British era. I do not remember well, I guess because at that moment was pulling me hair, poisoned with rage and erection teenage schoolboy. I do not remember it, but it was so. Reviewing the original videos no doubt: two minutes and fifty-five seconds of song, Simon throws away a rooster that goes around the world.

"A view to a kill." Duran Duran. Live Aid. 1985

remember Bryan Ferry, was then one of my favorite singers. I've always loved his peculiar voice, and the appreciation of the great versions of the great songs. I owe him the discovery of "Jealous Guy" of Lennon at that concert. And that tone that was several times while he played.
However, the big stars were the usual Clapton, Sting and Queen or Dire Straits.

But above all remember well that three appearances for various reasons, be worth it all day watching television that nothing worked: Thompson Twins, U2 and David Bowie.

The Thompson Twins were one of my favorite bands. A pop group who knew how to flirt with the techno-and every year launched wonderful songs like "Lay your hands on me" or Hold I now ". They played it last and amazing theme named "Revolution" , and that turned out to be The Beatles with Madonna backing vocals in the background. Fantastic.

"Revolution." Thompson Twins. Live Aid. 1985

U2 was a band already known. Topics such as "Sunday Bloody Sunday" or mainly "New year's day" had sounded much. I even had some records of them. But the interpretation of "Bad" , a subject hidden in his then latest album , more than ten minutes was the most spectacular of that mega. Even Bono allowed to introduce some classic topic sentences Lou Reed or The Rolling Stones in the long development of the song. And the unmistakable guitar of The Edge like magic. It was so exciting and so shocking that I got to drop some tears as my grandmother knitting without removing the astonished gaze.

"Bad." U2. Live Aid. 1985

And yes, David Bowie appeared . I basically knew that strange music video "Ashes to Ashes" which I loved, and his great success "Let's Dance" . But Bowie sang up to that stage masterful classics like "Rebel Rebel" , unknown to me then, currencies and "Modern Love", I adored, and a strange and long song, dreary and spooky attractive to called "Heroes" , and I knew in Castilian by the Permanent Paralysis version . That man had the power to sing that song like the last thing you do in life. And I I understood perfectly. Again changed my understanding of music, my way of looking at things and enjoy them. That fall, I bought books about him, and a few newly reissued vinyl that I ate without thinking. Something that I continue with the same emotion at the time. And yes, I recognize that even today would kill to have been at that moment there.

never forgive myself for not having heard before that issue, and not have organized everything to be peaceful and at home with my color TV, and enjoying the pleasure and envy, with my life parked for several hours. I still have the memory ... and YouTube, of course.

Happy Birthday Wishes To My Boss

glued to the TV Sound Disc (R)

That music is a vehicle for the dance from the beginning of time, is obvious. And the evolution of twentieth century popular music genres such as brought us soul or funk , determined to make us dance wildly, too. But it is precisely in the mid-seventies, when dance music becomes its own entity. Automatic rhythms, full of hype, which are classified by the number of beats per minute, created expressly to be stuck in the clubs. Long tracks with sophisticated developments, to be published in a new medium called maxisingle , where ten minutes of groove, spreading across a face of a 12-inch vinyl, providing quality sound and a punch, which still has not been exceeded.
Many were the creators of that wonderful sound. Musicians, producers, vocalists and DJs from USA and Europe, flooded the tracks around the world with their songs, and knew most successful pop drink of those rhythms to create radio hits that now belong to the memory of all .
Perhaps the story has not been fair to the Disco Sound , just as it is with today's electronics. For some reason, gender Dance music will always be regarded as superficial and frivolous.
Some think that far from being a genre tacky and passenger, Sound Disco is the mother of all dance floors, and its creators, all the kings of modern dance. So I can not help, to devote a corner (there will be more secure), three of my favorites: Alec R. Costandinos, Cerrone and Giorgio Moroder . Alec R.

Costandinos, Egyptian-born musician of Greek descent, served in the seventies as a producer and creator of sounds, first after the Greek Aphrodite's Child and successful solo career of singer Demis Roussos , then the backbone of European disco sound.

Costandinos is the steward of this great work seminal French drummer Cerrone published in 1976, called "Love in C minor" . From this record, and Konga , his former common project, will come the sound that would revolutionize European dancefloors in the coming years: an irresistible combination of funk rhythm of slow pacing, spectacularly orchestrated with exquisite melodies and sexually explicit. With the permission of Giorgio Moroder , under the opinion that signs, the best thing ever created for dancing. Spectacular string arrangements for big bands, with percussion and bass lines totally organic (later copied to exhaustion), and where machines are used more as a melodic instrument. All this is very baroque and very sissy, hot sex between choirs candor and passion for dance huge.

Thereafter, Costandinos be converted back to a great virtual band called Love & Kisses between 1977 and 1979, which will debut in the hit soundtrack to "Thank God It's Friday" (1977), and direct parallel the Orchestra Synchophonic in "Romeo & Juliette" (1977), paced symphonic album inspired by the Shakespeare classic, which is another masterpiece and possibly the author's creative ceiling. Other highlights were the soundtrack of "Blue Citron Trocadero" with great "Grooves" , and the project Sumeria, with "Golden Years" , and a shy proto techno tracks for dance. From here the production is uneven, less a symphony based on the story of The Hunchback of Notre Dame ; "Featuring Alirol & Jacquet " (1979) as Synchophonic Orchestra, with a spectacular central theme " Sinergy " based on Summer" Four Seasons "Vivaldi of or " Paris Connection (1979), with disco version of "Eloise" of Barry Ryan. The truth is that his recordings were losing interest in the more evolved the dance music. Something that was evident with the production of "Love Explossion" (1979), a failed attempt to recover for the world a now forgotten Tina Turner.

French percussionist Jean-Marc Cerrone worked closely with the project Costandinos Konga, but was "Love in C minor" , the piece that hit the top creative and artistic partner. The main theme was sixteen minutes of warm disco sound, a bass line infallible, an exquisite orchestration and fiery female vocals. It was a number one European and American youth in the clubs enjoyed more modern times. version of "Black is black" of Braves, and the great "Midnite Lady" , completed the album. After "Love in C minor" , and already "divorced" from Costandinos, Cerrone published successfully "Cerrone's Paradise" (1977) with the production of Don Ray , and their biggest hit, "Supernature" (1977), which included "Give me love" , whose main theme crowded the dance floor to blow beat and of undoubted influence synthetic arrangements later. In 1978, Cerrone was the first album by Don Ray, "Garden of Love" . Cerrone's career extends to the nineties, albeit with less inspiration and little success.

"Give me love." Cerrone. TV. 1977

Both Costandinos and Cerrone introduced electronics to enter where the synth sounds and programming take center stage. Although the big bet of synthetic sounds that would revolutionize the music album definitely would of course, from Kraftwerk Germany, and the hand of Giorgio Moroder .

Moroder was an Italian musician who was active from Munich, Germany. After several releases over the first 70, will be to work with Pete Bellote for a young singer named Donna Summer , where lay the foundations for a new sound that definitely marks the present and the future of dance music. In 1975 worldwide triumphs "Love to love you baby" , a winding track, with a Donna Summer really sexual in a crescendo that culminates in an explosion of percussion and synth bass of true vertigo. Possibly one of the most copied bases, shot and robbed in the history of popular music.
In 1977 surprised again with "I feel love" a strange issue where the voice seems to float on an irresistible synth bass. Become relentless buzz definitely in house brand. The work of Moroder and Donna Summer Bellote to be extended with great success until the early eighties. Evergreen and countless successes achieved together. Moroder
published the same year "From here to eternity" , a fantastic album created exclusively with electronic instruments. A festival of harmony synthesized sounds undisputed pioneer of the future.
In 1978 he received an Academy Award for the soundtrack of "Midnight Express" , and achieved great popularity with its main theme, Chase . In the 80, Moroder will be responsible for other bands sound as "Cat People" , "American Gigolo" , the hit "Flashdance" or the restored version of "Metropolis" , the innovative classic Friz Lang, work combined with his work as producer mainstream.

Giorgio Moroder. TV. 1977

Costandinos, Cerrone and Moroder are the trio of kings from Europe prompted the best sounding album of the seventies. His works are long-lasting as the pinnacle of the music created for dancing in disco tracks, and of course are the origin and sometimes rise from the engine dance music and electronica lucky recently. Were not alone, but for me it were, are, the better.

Forgotten: David Soul, police and

A time to remember the forgotten. Even the forgotten of the forgotten, those who never appear in retrofreak collections ...

... today: David Soul, police and singer.

Between 1975 and 1979, "Starsky & Hutch was TV series fashion. One dark and one blond, and in the zarzuela, David Soul and Paul Michael Glaser police became far more attractive, and the paint of your car, in the most imitated.

But it was David Soul, the blond, who was able to double the success with the series through a brief but fruitful career. David became the blink of an eye, the singer fashion, the idol of teenagers, hobnobbing with the stars of the moment.

"Do not give up on us" , a cloying ballad immense throughout the United Kingdom and Silver Lady ", here danced to in clubs, swept the lists of average world, and even today are very memorable, but perhaps many do not know it was David, Hutch, who sang them.

Chicken Pox Only On Legs

Favorite singer: Aznavour and she

A time to claim jewels pop.
perfect songs hidden in the back of an album, sadly
or abandoned over time ...

... today and she Aznavour.

Charles Aznavour is probably the most important voice in French music of all time. Armenian-born French, Aznavour is also the composer and actor. His fame is known throughout the world and next to the largest, thanks to his recordings in Italian, English and English. Some of his compositions, as "La Bohème" or "That c'est sad Venice" are part of the memory of all converted into timeless classics.

In 1999, Elvis Costello and Burt Bacharach began collaborating together. The first fruit of this interesting meeting was "She" , for cloying soundtrack of the film "Nothing Hill". "She" , is not the version for the UK market "Tous les visages d'amour" , a theme of 1974, Aznavour wrote himself (although based on a score much older), and recorded in English making it No. 1 in Britain that same year.

Costello and Bacharach were whom I discovered this song, and who through it made me rediscover Aznavour, who today is one of my favorite artists.

And "She" is one of those songs that is wonderful in all its versions.

What Does White Mean On Facebook Chat

24. Friends and Rock 'n' Roll

I do not know how it was or why. But in about two months, I changed my friends. My friendship with George was unchanged, and I was a little lost with my friends pulling each in its roll and nothing was the same. The
friends, my family since then, were a group of diverse cultures. Classmates, the school, were those who sold tickets pijitos Pacha on Saturday afternoon to take off the paste and leave travel. Well, it went on a trip, and when I came across a gift that they would have to endure for many years myself.

My first official outing with them, went to a concert Gabinete Caligari at the disco bubble Ribarroja. I honestly do not remember anything from that performance, only that I was alternating with them and with their friends at the time, guess who was behind and some who know the ecosystem where it should move thereafter. At first as I said, I found them all very pijitos, with Gus, that was the one who loved music, records and was able to organize it all, as leader. Manuel, who was very funny and the thinnest guy I had met in my entire life, John Joseph, who was a Galician in Galicia who would soon become the biggest fan of Dire Straits Northern Hemisphere Javi, to which all called "wolf" and that was an awkward child and a little tiresome that ended up becoming a great guy, funny and wise ... and Gabriel, Gaby, a quiet guy and looking child, who knew all the songs from The Smiths and had the most beautiful and expressive eyes I've ever met. From day one I knew was that look in my room, even a wrong place as impossible. The first time I saw Gaby out of school, came with George to buy a disc. A single Impossible Worse, "Whispering" , which was very fashionable and loved me too.

"Whispering." Worst impossible. Applause. TVE. 1985

The truth is that we were very different but we had many things in common. They were colleagues from George, and loved him. And George I opened the door, just when I needed it most. I could not fall into the best group, or have a better sponsor.

did with them hundreds of miles to see dozens of memorable concerts, and they shared my obsession with the songs and albums.

That began a long period in which almost every Saturday afternoon concert had Pasha, and the bands of a highly institutionalized and move, marched through the stage with discretion and perseverance.
few years, packed with organized trips to Madrid or Barcelona, to see old legends and leading figures, who never thought to step Valencia.
A time filled with miles and miles, listening to the same tape Dire Straits, over and over again .... until finally he picked up a baby and everything. And that when they took our cars, because until then I took a train to get to a club where he played someone who we could not lose, and then dying a few hours we waited at the station until the first train back.

"So Far Away." Dire Straits. Videoclip. 1985

was the summer of 85. Alzira again celebrating their festivals and as always, threw the house through the window in case of concerts. That night Gabinete Caligari, and the Troglodytes Loquillo, and Ye-Ye Glutamate, pooled forces on stage at the football field. And last but not least the Orquesta Mondragón stood in Alzira to present his "Rock & Roll Circus" . The four bands were at their best, and we could not miss. So I grabbed a train in the evening and we planted in the festival (because today no doubt, a sign like that would be called a festival). Glutamate
By then Ye-Ye had just launched "beautiful" a minielepé who edited with Ariola and contained "Alice" , which was an issue that drove me crazy every time he sounded in the club. It was the only show I saw of the band Iñaki Fernández, who hosts the night ended with the audience in the front rows. It seems somehow rebuked him, otherwise he said, and ended up getting off the stage and getting involved to slap ... Very punk, yes. Iñaki
offenders was one of my favorites, he copied me about the horn on his head. I mean, one day, to the delight of my mother decided to cut my hair. Gone are the large carded and hydrogen peroxide. Although not quite, because in case, kept a long tuft at the height of the fringe that looked for a while with a carding erect that caused a sensation. And no, I have said many times ... I have no photos.

"Alice." Ye-Ye glutamate. Toccata. TVE.1985

More professional did not matter and the Troglodytes Loquillo. And had seen several times, but this was the first I realized that they were a rock band truly immeasurable. presented "The Mafia Dance" , the first of three round discs of the Catalan band. Automatically all of us surrender to his feet. Loquillo our particular history, had only just begun. Gabinete Caligari
With I had a problem: to me that the rock cañí and English blood, as it seemed very very tacky facade. And surely it was very front and very tacky, but their albums were great, and "Al Calor del Amor in a Bar" , was then the perfect album. Shortly end my love affair with the band Jaime Urrutia, and there will be occasion to tell how it was that disagreement.

However, the three groups were the most interesting move, and seeing them together meant an event. But it was the Orquesta Mondragón , the most successful group was then. Beyond his sense of humor, surreal and descocado, band Jaime Stinus had become the paradigm of classic rock and good. And both Popotxo , as especially Javier Gurruchaga were real showmen on stage.
really enjoyed that performance, and those fantastic versions of "Rock 'n' Roll" Lou Reed of and "Stand By Me" Ben E. of King , where the bride was dressed Gurruchaga delusional and possessed, many years before their own monster engulfed him via the media. Times were different.

I Can't Take Out My Studs

Favorites: Kirsty days

A time to reclaim pop gems.
perfect songs hidden in the back of an album, sadly
or abandoned over time ...

... today, the days of Kirsty.

In 1968, The Kinks published a single one of my favorite songs: "Days" . But top of all the songs I've heard in my life.

Actually I did not know her by the original Ray Davies and his band. My first contact with this issue was due to the great Kirsty MacColl version included in your precious "Kite" in 1989. Kirsty had been made known to the global world with a beautiful duet with The Pogues entitled "Fairytale of New York" , and its status as the wife of one of the producers of fashion of the time, Steve Lillywhite , led him to appear in the credits of albums of Talking Heads or The Smiths , as a showgirl.
"Kite" is a spectacular album and features collaborations with Johnny Marr and David Gilmour, and even contains a very good version of "You Just Have not Earned It Yet, Baby" , the compilation American band of Morrissey and Marr. And of course, is produced by her husband.

I love the version of Kirsty makes "Days" , I love his voice and I love the sound of that album. A theme of those that are right for the day. A text sad, even bitter, that reaches into the positive of things through a beautiful melody, which takes power to each compass, and reaches a vast explosion of joy. A very contradiction Ray Davies and his unique universe and vindicated.

I love this song. Is that I am among those who think that nothing is forever, but compensates enjoy the good times, and record them in memory to remember them when they are no longer with the same excitement the first day.

Thank you for the day.
Those endless days, those sacred days
me gave.
remember those days.
not forget even one, believe me. Bendigo

light illuminates you, believe me.
And while you're gone,
're with me every day, believe me.

Days I'll remember all my life,
days when you could not distinguish the bad from the good.
You took my life,
but even then I knew I would leave soon.
But okay, now
this world scares me, believe me.

Hopefully today could be tomorrow.

The night is dark and only brings pain.

Thanks
for days.
Those endless days,
those sacred days you gave me.
remember those days.
not forget even one, believe me.

Days I'll remember all my life,
days when you could not distinguish the bad from the good.
You took my life,
but even then I knew I would leave soon.
But okay, now
this world scares me, believe me.

Thank you for the day.
Those endless days,
those sacred days you gave me.
remember those days.
not forget even one, believe me.

bless the light that shines in you, believe me.
And while you're gone
're with me every day, believe me.

(and thanks to my friend Isabel, me has translated for the occasion)

And of course, this time also I refuse to recover the original.

Forgotten: a young Victoria

A time to remember the forgotten. Even the forgotten of the forgotten, those who never leave in retrofreak collections ...

... today: a young Victoria.

Victoria Abril became one of the most popular television shows in 1976, playing the sweet and friendly girl who accounted for the correct answers to the missed One, Two, Three ... answer other time English TV. His previous film credits did not presage his later career as an actress. "sex change" (1976) by Vicente Aranda , TVE series "La Barraca" (1978), or "Mater Amatísima" (1980) by José Antonio Salgot provided him with some of his first major and intense roles, but would a few years later when it would great success with "La Colmena" (1982) by Mario Camus and "Bicycles are for summer" (1983) by Jaime Chavarri .

The bulk of his career as an actress is well known. Not so much his career as a singer. Two recently released CDs, "Pots do Brasil" (2005), which aims to become the Carla Bruni Franco-Brazilian, with the same class but with less talent and "Olala" (2008), with a daring mix of flamenco and French song, make his official discography. What Wikipedia or dare to remember is his "other discography."

Victoria in 1978 released his first single "When you kiss me" . A song written and produced by Jesus Gluck , sounding decidedly festivalero and some disco winds sound, which became a hit passenger. Subsequently released some singles (including a duet with Lorenzo Santamaría ) and "If at the end" the main theme, also Gluck, the soundtrack of "La Barraca" of TVE.

recorded some tracks that did not become available in due course, halfway between sweet pop and disco. Emulating the great Amii Stewart went so far as to dare to a disco version of "Light My Fire" The Doors of . Today, a whole incunabula.

How To Set Up A Network With A Dongle

Forgotten: Red de San Luis

A time to remember the forgotten. Even the forgotten of the forgotten, those who never appear in retrofreak collections ...

... today: Red de San Luis.

Now that John Smith died, the actor who lived under the character of Chema, Baker Sesame Street whom we all remember fondly, is a good time to rescue the odd band that belonged to late seventies.

Red de San Luis was a quartet sponsored by Juan Pardo who came to release two albums between 1978 and 1980. A vocal band that sounds like the time that unlike others, had some sense of humor and a carefree spring, victim and executioner of the imminent arrival of the eighties. "Samba Lady" heard much on radio and television, and released them become successful. Saturation possibly fleeing their ultraexitosos syrup "godchildren", the Pecos , Juan Pardo knew how to transmit his usual surrealism perishable to some young actors becoming singers.

His latest endeavor is a capital piece of kitsch homeland, a version of "The Clapping Song (Clap Pat Clap Slap)" , the classic sixties made popular by Shirley Ellis , which was successfully revised in the seventies by Gary Glitter and in the eighties by Belle Stars. Sung in Castilian, while observing the absurdity of the original lyrics that were able to adapt to his style delirious and overreacted, "Dance!" , reached No. 1 on the Top 40 in 1980 and is a subject worthy of rescuing ... Serve tribute to John, Chema.

And of course I can not resist dropping the fantastic original version.

The Cake Boss' Fondant Recipe

23. Divine Punk and other herbs.

With 17 years and in 1985, any kid seemed doomed to more foolishness and vulgar kitsch. But it was precisely the need to flee from deadly magnetism size, the closer you to modernity, but sometimes out of fashion somewhat forced. And modernity did not have (nor have I mean, nor should it be today) rules precisely because when you go to modern standards, and becomes petulant prick. Is that I am among those who think that what is in fashion is one thing, and the modern one. Modern style is notable for its sizzling creativity, being groundbreaking or retrieve what seemed irrecoverable, and of course, is ridiculous for the rest of mortals. However, in a couple of years, which was modern becomes fashionable and sold well in the English Court in the Bershka, and is repudiated by modern and adored by the masses.

Over the years, all that matters less and less, but 17 with my 17, what was or was not modern and the why of everything, were the beginning and end. Reason for living.
Following my premise
plan "whatever you are, know as" , I was the most modern. The institute was one of the four or five more post-modern (as was said at the time), summer with my cousins, was the outrageously funny. And the fault, misunderstood modern paradigm. There the majority were ten years older than me, my sister's fifth Vero, and all were members or sympathizers of the left, what was then called progress. soon discovered that the postmodern liberal and not at all well combined. Clear that, after all, if I managed to combine both in my own person, why would not be possible peaceful coexistence between the two blocs. Of course this "cold war" was not some ironic smiles more confusing than bullies.

Only one person was attacking my reign: Sento. Sento
was a year older than me. He was a neighbor, friend and companion of the fault. He studied piano and hairdresser, he loved music almost as much as me, and no, not gay.
shared with him many times and many, many musical conversations while I cut his hair with his electric razor. I remember that sense, I loved Peter Gabriel . I owe him the power to enjoy the songs of one of the musicians creative and innovative history.

"Sledgehammer." Peter Gabriel. Videoclip. 1986.

far, so right. But is that in a modern living Sento latent suddenly surfaced after a holiday in Ibiza. I do not remember exactly what was summer. I only know that he returned to the island with a wardrobe furiously. Models impossible hollow and shiny fabrics, like new romantic neo trance hippy . A style that led to the limit, everybody would know years later through the histrionic Locomía .
course His transfiguration was misunderstood and the subject of mockery and joke by even their closest friends. Not only was persistent in his new style, but he used to experience in itself different dyes and carded, each more eccentric. Obviously, the throne of pure modernity, I was caught without the possibility of reaction. Against Sento, could not compete, as is well known, when you can not beat your enemy, it is best to join him. So together we have shared memorable concerts.

Mariano A good day for the failure appeared with two invitations that someone of his work had given him for a concert that although he does not just interesting, to Sento and I might go crazy.
Mariano, was a boy of the major fault, who loved music and had many very good albums. It was he who showed me that Stevie Wonder was much more than the tacky "I Just Call cough ay I love you" , who lived much deceived me with that. Mariano's tastes were, yes, very classic and very 70's.
Well, after giving us those tickets would have eaten us kisses. Few things we wanted more than to see the queen of punk alive, one of the great myths of modernity more personal Nina Hagen. That's nothing.

"Zarah." Nina Hagen. Videoclip. 1983.

Nina Hagen and Lene Lovich , operating on the Island club in Alcudia. Macrodiscoteca Island was spectacular, with a terrace of the size of a football field, can comfortably accommodate large events. Originally called Islam, but changed its name because the integrity (whatever its sign) never liked frivolities. So in a fit strangely surreal, the huge sign on the door disappeared the letter m, and the place was renamed Island Of course, the gap left by the m, remained there all his life, and typography arabic other letters too. And what is even more curious, all the decoration and structure of the building always kept its aspect of disco mosque. Neither
Sento nor I had car or vehicle capable of taking us there. And even less on Thursday. So the only possible way to get there was by train to Carlet, and then make some miles walking down the road towards al'Alcudia. So we took the last train in the evening, knowing that the first train back not leave until six o'clock. It was a titanic effort and exhaustion inevitable, but I have worse things to do in this life to see a concert.

Walking at night, a dark and unknown road is not good for the body. And if not it have a sense that the way to Isla crashed really funny. I do not remember how or why, just remember that we walked the two on the shoulder, and a neglect disappeared as if he had swallowed the earth. The dark, weed and inexperience, led to Sento and all its sweeping modern unison to rush to the bottom of a ditch, fortunately shallow and, thankfully, dry. I remember that episode many times. There would I have seen the Hagen, lost in the weeds and trying to keep all the glamor.

The concert was wonderful. Nina was a living legend and was still in good shape. An old legend, fed the curiosity of the diva: one that had that concert was able to enter the microphone through the vagina as if nothing had happened. And of course, everyone is just waiting. He did not. But if you played with the mic and panties with a skunk's head in relief and with his tongue out. Disappointment we did not care because Hagen sang his repertoire of timeless classics, your "New York, New York" his "Zarah" his "African Reggae" ... Her vocal qualities able to join the punk with the lyrics, we were left speechless. And his knowledge to be on stage, too. And the final duet with her friend Lene Lovich also great, it was amazing. Both premiered "Do not kill the animals" , a great song in defense of animals, which spent promotional video "accidentally" noticed by the hardness of your images.

Even if something never forget, apart from a thousand weeds wrapped Sento is their fantastic version of "My Way" ...

How Much Is Real Pearl?

The Soul of Los Canarios Special

The Idols, the band consists of four Canarian veiteañeros led by Edward "Teddy" Bautista , decided to change its name to Los Canarios while on American soil absorbed the essence of soul and rithm'n 'blues that marked his later style.

Once in Spain, released the single "Three, two, one ah!" without much impact, and decided to convert the sound decidedly toward incorporating a fantastic black metal section, quite unusual for bands the time.

The opportunity arises hand film producer Elías Querejeta , who charged them a theme for the new film by Carlos Saura . "Peppermint Frappe" , was the single with which he made known to the public in 1967. Later other ornaments come in a simple format: "Get on your knees" which was a big hit throughout Europe, and "Child" / "Requiem for a soul" (the latter a sweeping tribute to Otis Redding). All tracks produced by Alain Milhaud, who became a producer of fashion, managed to bring bands like The Bravery , The Pop Tops or Canarios themselves to the top of European charts.

However, the Canaries were case apart. Their sound is light years ahead of bands common in English. The influences of black music, and compositions, and especially the spectacular voice of Teddy, took them to be classified in the United Kingdom under the label of northern soul (British soul). As if they were on par with the other bands was the stigma that killed many of them: the military. Hopefully, Los Canarios not disappear, but they changed their registration after the return of Teddy with ideas closer to rock progressive. Just published "Liberate" (Free Yourself) in 1970, his first official Lp (they shared one with the Top Tops, in the form of compilation of singles, a couple of years before), and a great single with the same name.

Later, without Milhaud, posted singles as "Reaction" and "Extra Extra" (1971), and direct Canarios Vivos " (1972). After the group dissolved Teddy Bautista, to consolidate with other musicians later to record "Cycles , a review of " The Four Seasons "by Vivaldi with synthesizers and progressive arrangements, which moved away permanently from the black spirit that characterized the original Canarios.

Los Canarios are my favorite band of English pop classic. His legacy is brief but very intense. In my house there was always a original single "Get on your knees" that I adore. Over time I discovered it means "kneel" and tells the story of fellatio although the little phrase used to refer to kneel in church to pray. Glad you did not know Franco's censors any English, let alone black music. Gradually I've been doing with original copies of their singles, and each time I see on TV Teddy hover with their taxes, and fees, I wonder why he has never appeared a CD with songs by Los Canarios properly remastered and a booklet full of information that for me is definitely the best band in the history of English pop.

So there is no choice but to pirate everything, to share with everyone.

Puss Bubbles On Inside Of Mouth

40 years

Today I am 40 years old. So I say, bluntly. And no, I change the name of this Memoirs 40, or anything. Nor do I take stock, no nothing.
It's just that today I am 40 years old, and I never celebrate my birthday, given the round number and song this time, yes I celebrated with my closest friends last weekend.

The truth is that no thought not mention, perhaps in Chapter 132 could have gone, but I have the public need to share with all the greatest of my treasures: my friends.

Unlike Roberto Carlos , I do not want a million friends, I am satisfied with the many I have, which are very good. And I'm a lucky guy, really. Here's the proof. This is the idea: have been disguised and marked, to recreate some album covers, now, forever memorable, and make a 2008 calendar for me. That's another, which are very artists who are in the theater, which are some photoshop wizards, and know how to touch my heartstrings that you I have hidden out there. The result is so spectacular that I have the need to share these images with everyone. There he goes.

Yolanda is the of David Bowie "Aladdin Sane."

Mariví is the Prince of "Parade" , that of "Kiss" .

Carlos, Christine, Elvira and Michelangelo, are the new guys Bay, the river now. A nod to some old acquaintances on these pages.

Isabel and Armando are Diana Ross and Marvin Gaye of "Diana & Marvin."

Ariana, is flanked by Chema and Charles, for the cover of Gossip "Standing in the way of (dis) control" .

Dídac Guchi and recreate a John Lennon and Yoko Ono on the cover of "Two Virgins."

Paco and Nacho are The Last Row with liger point and everything.

Pili and Michelangelo, are Fangoria in "I'm dead."

Chema is each and every one of the in Kraftwerk "Man Machine".

And "Srg. Peppers, The Beatles of is converted to a few details, including my name and myself, to mark the event.

Whether or not it is an amazing gift? A great photoshop work, but also a lot of makeup and lots of perfect pose. That is all for ever. And everything, all my pride excited, because I have the best friends in the world.

Of course, now I also need to have my own home, that I have an ego to miss this unique opportunity even at the wrong time. I'll think of something.

Coupons For Solaraze Gel

22. Forgotten

love musicals. I mean seriously. I am among those who think that the best movie ever made is "Singin 'in the Rain" (1952) by Stanley Donen . And I've never understood why people find it so strange that someone get up in conversation, and while serving a whiskey and soda, a lovely start to sing Cole Porter composition , explaining how much he wants to that mysterious woman who does not know his name. Maybe if life was yes, everything would be easier right? Okay maybe not, but nobody can deny that is much nicer being abandoned by your partner, with Gershwin playing in the background, with a ringtone from Melendi .

"Make 'Em Laugh." Donald O'Connor. "Singin 'in the rain." 1952.

Anyway, I love musicals. But live in the theater, I had very few opportunities to see a good musical. And that everything is now in Madrid musical success, and Madrid is not far away. What happens is that many of them are false music. There are works written with songs and story, stories, alibis for dinosaurs exploit pop repertoire Queen, Abba or Mecano. And that creative process is reversed, where he is infallible familiar song, the one that catapults them to success with a huge audience that never bear a play where a guy get up in conversation, and using a scotch and soda, started singing a beautiful composition Cole Porter. And of course, going to Madrid for that, it gives me lazy ...

Of all the music, the real, known around here, the most marked my adolescence was "Jesus Christ Superstar " . Was so successful in the 70's, with Camilo Sesto and Angela Carrasco , which proliferated like mushrooms poisonous amateur versions play-back, a phenomenon hitherto largely unknown. Any undergraduate school, cultural association or commission faller, had its version Superstar's tacky and pathetic. The work was perfect for this: the ragged clothes dirt cheap out there was to dance (I can not imagine doing a COU students "All That Jazz" not perish in the attempt), and there was to sing (which for this reason the Ladybug class had twice the original cassette version of Camilo). It was like riding the living Nativity scene in the parish, but with hairy robbed. So between one thing and another, everyone had to attend several productions of Superstar salchicheros during those years. Something really remarkable when you consider that not all companies had the pleasure to perform the work outlined in the three known or four numbers (the "nosecómoamarle", the "osanajé" and remembered "quierosaber quierosaber is Lord" and its spectacular cry hurricane).

Over time I discovered that "Jesus Christ Superstar" of Lloyd Webber and Rice was a great work, and discovered the Norman Jewison film , which is not bad, especially discovered original recording, which before Camilo and film and everything, there was a recording with Murray Head making Judas, and Ian Gillan, then voice of Deep Purple in the role of Jesus Christ.

Well, would be at 85 when I could finally see a real assembly "Jesus Christ Superstar" . Under the direction of Jaime Azpiricueta (the same who led the Camilo), and the musical direction of Teddy Bautista (who was of Judas in Camilo, long before he became a tax collector), and Paul Abraira, and Sergio and Estíbaliz , among others, as protagonists. There

we planted my sister Lola and I, in the Teatro Principal in Valencia, to see Pablo Abraira , the handsome crooner great success, making Jesus Christ.

The first surprise was a condition difficult to ignore: the theater was full of nuns. Entiéndaseme, I mean the public. Seriously. Nuns in the stalls and dozens of nuns in the boxes preferred. So the nuns came to roost. Grey Nuns and skirt at the knee, not what it means because I know nothing nuns.
was a really confusing time come and see him as willing monjerío. Of course my first thought is that my sister Lola and I were wrong, and that this was not the Superstar but a recital of Mary Ostiz , and tolerance that ultra singer who insisted a day Share your thoughts with half of Spain, his.

"A people is." Mary Ostiz. TVE. 1978.

But no. Our location was correct.
as I know the premiere of the work in Spain, Camilo, was surrounded by bitter controversy caused by the rebound of more fundamentalist Catholics. But ten years later, in the theater had more cloistered nuns. Nuns face language teacher institute school of Opus Dei . Know the entire universe of Catholics, and more that of "professional" religion, so I will not draw conclusions. All things considered, the libretto of the work (the "rock opera" that was said then), did not come to remove the story of Jesus just as we had told the whole life. Rather, help, and much, to perpetuate the character as a contemporary myth, a kind of fusion flowerpower , which may now lead to giggle.

not matter. The fact is that Lola and I were there, watching a show that we were not disappointed. Indeed the musical direction of Teddy Bautista, closer to the fantastic Canary of 60 that its dark current activity, was tremendous and provided a more modern rock sound than the version we already knew (what Teddy has been great indeed. To see if these memories will soon rediscover the great band leader).

In short, I remember the spectacular moment of the crucifixion, with much smoke and many many laser and strobe lights. And the hundreds of nuns with shortness of breath and orgasm to explode, which could not avoid looking at the corner of his eye. All religious experience.

I know. Do I have any attachment to the nuns. I do not know if at absurdly futile existence, or the mystery disease that holds what they call a vocation. But anyway, that is another matter.
